Bound in dark navy crushed morocco for Hatchards (by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, though unsigned), with a variety of gilt frames to covers, accented with small inlaid red roundels at corners and along spine. Title in gilt to upper portion of front cover. Blind stamped cloverleaf finial design extending from spine bands. Five bands to spine with title and author to second and third compartments, remaining compartments ruled in gilt with red inlaid roundels at corners. Gilt ruled turn-ins with pale blue endpapers. Top edge gilt. Measures 5.25" x 7.5". Some minor spots of rubbing to corners and edges, spine slightly faded, offsetting to endpapers.
