[Embroidered Binding] Shakespeare's Poems

Shakespeare, William. The Sonnets of Shakespeare. John Lane, 1902. A beautiful Arts & Crafts embroidered binding, featuring a large flower centerpiece to the front cover, with birds, snail, butterflies, and small buds, all accented with small metallic beads and borders in gold metallic thread. Spine is separated into five compartments with thread, with a different flower in each. Back cover features a large grape vine and two bunches of grapes in purple. Fabric missing at edges of both covers, and tear to fabric at front hinge (binding still solid). Some of the metal beads that were sewn to the front cover are missing.
