Bound in blue crushed morocco by Riviere & Son, with no decoration to covers and elaborate gilt decoration to spines; five bands to spine, with title and author to second compartment, and flower, leaves, and vines design to remaining compartments, accented with roundels and stippling. Wide gilt ruled turn-ins with three flowers and stippling to corners. Dark red endpapers. Charles Cobb Walker's bookplate by Rudolph Ruzicka to front pastedowns. Embossed ex libris stamp of the New England Conservatory of Music Library to title page and p. 67. (Deaccession letter included with purchase.) Measures approx. 6" x 8.25". A few spots of rubbing, nearly invisible repaired split (3") to rear hinge of Poems volume.
