Weedon, L.L. Lichtenstein: A Romance after the German of Wilhelm Hauff, Adapted for English Readers. London: Ernest Nister, circa 1900. Black and white illustrations throughout by T.H Robinson. Bound by Riviere & Son in full red crushed morocco, with rectangular frame of tulips, leaves, and stippling to both front and rear covers. Striking decorated spine in the Arts & Crafts style, with similar tulip and stippled design to five of six compartments, and title and author to the other compartment. Moiré silk endpapers and dentelles with gilt decoration of tulips and stippling. All edges gilt. Measures approx. 5" x 7.5". Lower corners slightly bumped, and a few minor spots of wear.
