Decorative headers and borders throughout by Harold Sichel, which have beautifully hand-illuminated in green, yellow, and ochre watercolors, and accented with gold paint. (The rear of the box has the sticker of A.E. Little's art and stationery store in Los Angeles, where this volume was most likely illuminated and then sold.) Gray handmade laid paper covered boards panel stamped in gilt with gilt stamped title label, also by Harold Sichel. Spine in Japan vellum with titles and motifs used on title label stamped in gilt. Handset in Caslon italic on handmade Van Gelder paper. In original glassine wrapper and gilt stamped gift box. A few spots of foxing to the fore-edge and light offsetting to opposite pages from the gold paint used in the illumination. Some fading to gold paint.
